Amelthea exports new and used vehicles from Japan to international customers.
We provide services including:
- Vehicle sourcing and inspection
- Documentation and export procedures
- Shipping and logistics assistance
- Customer support and after-sale guidance
All vehicles are sold as-is, unless otherwise stated in a specific sales agreement.
4. Eligibility
By using our website or purchasing from Amelthea, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years old
- Are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
- Are not prohibited from receiving goods under applicable import/export laws
5. Vehicle Listings and Pricing
- Vehicle details, specifications, and prices listed on our website are provided in good faith and updated regularly.
- Prices may change without notice due to currency fluctuations, shipping costs, or market demand.
- Some vehicles may already be sold or unavailable at the time of inquiry.
- All transactions are subject to confirmation by Amelthea.
6. Payment Terms
- Payments must be made according to the invoice issued by Amelthea.
- Accepted payment methods include bank wire transfer or other approved methods stated in your invoice.
- All payments must be made in full before shipment.
- Amelthea is not responsible for transfer fees or currency exchange differences.
- Failure to pay within the specified time may result in cancellation of the order.
7. Shipping and Delivery
- Once payment is received, Amelthea will arrange shipment through trusted shipping partners.
- Delivery times depend on destination port, shipping schedule, and customs procedures.
- All shipping is conducted under Incoterms® 2020, typically CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) or FOB (Free On Board) unless otherwise agreed.
- Customers are responsible for import duties, taxes, and customs clearance in their destination country.
8. Inspection and Quality
- All vehicles are inspected before export, and inspection certificates (if applicable) are provided.
- Amelthea is not responsible for minor wear, cosmetic issues, or mechanical conditions consistent with used vehicles unless specifically guaranteed.
- Third-party inspection services may be used at the customer’s request and expense.
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Orders can only be cancelled before payment is made.
- Once payment has been received, cancellation is not accepted.
- Refunds are only issued if Amelthea cannot deliver the vehicle due to its unavailability or legal restrictions.
- Any refund will be processed using the original payment method, minus applicable bank and administrative fees.
10. Limitation of Liability
Amelthea shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profit, revenue, or data
- Delays caused by shipping companies, customs, or natural events
- Damage or loss occurring after shipment from Japan
Our total liability in any case shall not exceed the total amount paid for the specific vehicle or service.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the property of Amelthea and protected by international copyright laws.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, or use any content without written permission.
12. Privacy Policy
Your use of our website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use personal data in compliance with Japan’s APPI and EU GDPR.
13. Compliance with Laws
All exports are conducted in accordance with:

14. Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
- These Terms shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Japan.
- In case of disputes, both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- For international transactions, English shall be the controlling language for interpretation.
